These post earrings were created using round silver wire that was coiled into a spiral.  They are designed to be interchangeable with other gemstone or lampwork charms. The ball on the end of the hoop prevents the charms from falling off while worn. Just remove the earnut to slide the charm off to wear the silver hoop alone or replace with another charm.
